Travelling in the Alpes-Maritimes...

The French Riviera / Côte d'Azur and the South Alps, it every season :

* In winter, they enjoy the joys of the mountain or stay by the seaside and breathe the fragrance of the mimosa
* In Spring,  the revival of the garden with the most coloured bouquets
* In summer, it is a festival of ideas for all : Beaches, music and museums in Mediterranean background, excursions under the sun of the mountain pastures, trips or extreme sports.
* The autumn, when everything is quiet. It is the time to enjoy this particular calmness, this light beyond compare which sweeps the villages both high up in the country and those by the seaside.

The different valleys/areas of Alpes-Maritimes :

* Loup/Esteron valleys & Préalpes: Massif less than 30 minutes from the Riviera. Villages with old stone houses and wild areas, marvellous panoramic views and wide open spaces where you can enjoy leisure activities or extreme sports…
* Var valley : Gateway to the Mercantour National Park... River fishing or excursions in summer, skiing, surfing or snow scootering in winter
* Tinée valley : From Mercantour to Var... Long and sinuous valleys, small mountain routes hanging from the sides of the valleys with these invigorating and sporting resorts, lively and picturesque villages...
* Vésubie valley : The area called ‘Suisse Niçoise’ (little Switzerland near Nice) is surprisingly green and cool. All sports will be available to you: fishing, ski, horse-riding, mountain climbing…
* Roya & Bévéra valleys : Here, you are in the most oriental part of the department, with a rich history shared between France and Italy going over many years.
* Nice & Menton Area : Along the bay between Nice & Menton, discovered the most beautiful view and landscape of the Riviera
* Antibes Cannes Grasse Vence Area : A peaceful land between hills and sea where generous sunshine is a constant feature. A land of inspiration, full of beauty, peace and pleasure.
